Lantana

Lantana is a 2001 mystery drama film. The film involves five couples who all appear to be living happy lives on the outside. However, they all have terrible secrets that they are keeping from the spouses, and their spouses all suspect that something may be wrong. Each one of the couples also happens to be connected in some way. Including by things like infidelity, corruption, and grief. Things start to change when a body is found in a Lantana bush, and the five begin to learn the secrets that have been hidden. In the end, the five couples will never be the same. Lantana is directed by Ray Lawrence. The film is based on a play written by Andrew Bovell. Unlike other play based films it features complex cinematography and multiple locations. Andrew Bovell adapted Lantana for the screen as well. Lantana has Anthony LaPaglia and Geoffrey Rush playing the lead roles.
