Frank "The Cucumber" de Marco is finally rising into a position of prominance in the mafia. Aside from getting his fingers into more lucrative matters, he is also married to the lovely Angela. The budding couple also have a son together. But, as with many men, Frank has wandering loyalties, as is evident when Frank makes his move on Karen. But, Karen is not just any prize, she is the mistress of Mob boss Tony "The Tiger" Russo. When Tony catches the two together, he quickly and violently eliminates Frank from the picture. At Frank's funeral, Tony then proceeds to make a move on Frank's widow Angela. But, Angela has other ideas, wanting to escape the grip of the mafia with her son and have a normal life.
