The main character and narrator of this film is a teenager named Tim Templeton. Tim describes the events that happened to his seven-year-old self. Tim tells how he was jealous of his fast-talking, briefcase-carrying baby brother named the "Boss Baby." Tim decides to go all in and strives to go on a mission to win back the affection of his parents. Tim winds up finding out about a very secret plot by Puppy Co. The CEO of Puppy Co., Francis E. Francis, has hatched a plot which revolves around Tim's baby brother. This evil plot also threatens to destabilize the balance of love in the world. In all the plotting and chaos, both brothers realize they must unite to save their parents and restore order to the world, and to also prove that love truly is an infinite, driving force, and can never be stopped.
