Watch One Eight Seven

One Eight Seven is a drama movie starring Samuel L Jackson as a substitute teacher named Mr. Garfield. After being attacked at his previous school, he has transferred to another school where he felt he could do the most good, but runs into many troubles with gang members on campus. After his watch is stolen while trying to educate his class on a science experiment, he goes to the principal to report the student he believes is responsible.

When nothing is done about returning his sacred watch, Mr. Garfield decides to do his own research on the thief. While helping students, especially a young girl, to achieve better, Mr. Garfield constantly fights the threats and advances of gang members in the school. After befriending a fellow school teacher, who complains of the issues and threats from the head leader of the gang in the school, one of the gang members disappears.

Under heavy suspicion by fellow gang members that Mr. Garfield has done something to the missing gang member, Mr. Garfield is in the fight for his life, to not only continue to do what he loves by teaching, but to also keep from being killed by the gang members that have marked him for death.
