Prison is a 1988 paranormal horror film about a prison that has a mysterious twist due to a horrible event. However, this prison is different from the average prison because in a normal prison, the inmates don't have the fear of being murdered, while they are serving their time. In 1956, an inmate named Charles Forsythe at Creedmore Prison, was falsely framed and accused of murder. Since the police couldn't find any other evidence that didn't link to him, he died to 60,000 volts of electricity also known as death to the famous electric chair. However, a part of him was still left hanging around here on earth. Unfortunately for his spirit, nobody uses the room that he died in anymore and his spirit is trapped. Later, the Creedmore Prison shuts down. Thirty years later, the Creedmore prison reopens for prisoners to inhabit. The prison has a new warden now, but the warden just so happens to be the same person (a security guard) who framed Charles Forsythe for murder three decades prior. The new warden, Eaton Sharpe, orders the prisoners to break down the wall that Charles Forsythe was killed in. This event gives Forsythe's spirit the opportunity to take his revenge on Sharpe and anyone else who gets in the way of his murderous rampage. An inmate named Burke and the other inmates soon realize that they will all be brutally slaughtered when they began to notice supernatural things. They find out that unless Forsythe is permitted to kill Sharpe, they will survive. After more supernatural events that leave the inmates' lives hanging in the balance, they are filled with dread and terror. Soon Eaton Sharpe and Charles Forsythe are finally able to rekindle their long time vengeance for each other in a horrific battle to the death. This battle will bring Charles Forsythe's paranormal rage fully powered against Eaton Sharpe's willingness to do anything to survive.
