This fascinating motion picture tells the tale of a little girl who has been kidnapped by a convict who was put in prison due to the girl's father's testimony. In a plot to enact his revenge, the convict kidnaps the man's daughter and forces her in to a brothel. Growing up in such a grotesque environment, the young girl now named, Umrao, has grown into quite the popular star entertainer. She is renowned all over the region for her talent, and goes on to fall in love with a man. However, despite all of her fame and success, Umrao knows there is something missing in her life.
