Vibes is a film that stars Jeff Goldblum and Cyndi Lauper. It is a comedy about a man who has psychic powers and ends up on a chase for treasure in South America with a woman he can't get along with played by Cyndi Lauper. Jeff Goldblum is Nick Deezy, a psychometrist. A psychometrist is someone who can determine the origin of a situation and the events surrounding an object simply by touching the object. In the movie when Nick Deezy meets Sylvia Pickel (Cyndi Lauper), a trance-medium, they set out on an adventure together. The gig to find the treasure is supposed to pay Sylvia a lofty fifty thousand dollars; however, it becomes a situation that the two are lucky if they survive, as there are villains, and others in search of the treasure as well.
