Kalani and Asuelu's relationship also hits a rough patch after Asuelu discusses wanting to visit his family in Samoa, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Kalani, who is concerned about the overall safety of their children, is vehemently against the idea. Asuelu, who has always been close to his mom and sister, feels that Kalani's words are harsh and questioning his love for his family. The couple's argument leads to a massive showdown, and they realize that there is a significant communication gap between them that needs to be resolved.

Another couple on the show, Tiffany and Ronald, have to deal with the aftermath of their massive fight in which Ronald accused Tiffany of cheating on him. Tiffany had to ask for help from their family and friends after Ronald vandalized her car, and he is yet to make amends.
