Jack Griffin, the disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar turned high school teacher, is back for the thirteenth, and final, episode of the first season of A.P. Bio titled "Drenching Dallas." Once again, he is up to his usual antics as he tries to inspire his students to act against a perceived injustice.

Set against the backdrop of Toledo High School's annual charity car wash, the episode opens with Jack trudging through several piles of mud on his way to class. His mood is already sour, and it doesn't improve when he hears that Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) has given the student council the responsibility of running the charity car wash. Jack is certain that this will result in a wash that is inefficient, joyless, and ultimately unsuccessful.

Determined to take control of the situation, Jack appoints himself leader of the car wash and sets about getting his students on board with his vision of a "good, old-fashioned, '80s-style" sporting event to raise money for a good cause. He enlists the help of the overtly enthusiastic car enthusiast Anthony (Lyric Lewis), the reluctant but talented glutton Michelle (Jean Villepique), and the free-spirited, nature-loving Mary (Mary Sohn). Together, they devise a series of competitions and obstacles to entertain the patrons and participants of the car wash, and to encourage them to donate generously.

As Jack and his team prepare for the event, they are constantly interrupted by the student council, who are annoyed that they have been sidelined from the planning process. In particular, Dallas (Jacob McCarthy), the timid and unremarkable treasurer of the student council, is determined to assert his authority and prove that he can run a successful car wash. Jack, however, is dismissive of Dallas and his council, and refuses to allow them to interfere with his plans.

When the day of the car wash arrives, Jack and his team are initially pleased with the turnout. The sun is shining, the cars are queuing up, and the customers are eager to take on the challenges they have prepared. However, things start to go awry when the student council shows up with their own set of obstacles and games, designed to lure the customers away from Jack's team and towards their own.

As the rivalry between Jack and Dallas intensifies, the two teams engage in a series of increasingly outrageous stunts to outdo each other. Water balloons, super soakers, and even raw eggs are used as weapons in the escalating battle for dominance. Meanwhile, the customers are getting soaked, slimed, and egged, but they are all having a great time and, most importantly, they are donating generously to the cause.

But the chaos and mayhem of the car wash have consequences. As the day wears on, Jack realizes that he has neglected to do something very important, and he starts to panic. Will he be able to rectify his mistake in time, or will he be forced to admit defeat to Dallas, the student council, and the rest of the school?

With a mix of physical comedy, witty writing, and sharp performances, "Drenching Dallas" is a fitting end to a terrific first season of A.P. Bio. It showcases the talents of the cast and crew, who have created a show that is hilarious, irreverent, and oddly heartwarming. Whether you are a fan of teen comedies, workplace sitcoms, or just great TV in general, A.P. Bio is definitely worth a watch.
