Ep 6. Melvin

Jack Griffin is back in action as the narcissistic and lazy Harvard philosophy professor who found himself demoted to teach high school in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio. In season 2, episode 6 of A.P. Bio, Jack sets his sights on winning the Toledo Teacher of the Year award for the third year in a row.

However, his plans are complicated when it's revealed that his arch-nemesis, fellow teacher and former high school classmate, Lynn Davies, is also nominated for the award. Jack's competitive spirit ignites and he becomes determined to sabotage Lynn's chances at winning.

Meanwhile, the students of Whitlock High School are tasked with creating a science project for the upcoming science fair. The project must be original and creative, and Jack assigns the students with finding a way to turn a left-handed person right-handed. This leads to some hilarious and absurd attempts at executing the experiment, including electrocution and hypnosis.

But the focus soon shifts when one of Jack's students, Melvin, becomes the key to his victory in the Teacher of the Year award. Melvin possesses a talent for playing the oboe, a skill that Jack uses to his advantage to outdo Lynn in the competition. However, things take an unexpected turn when Melvin reveals a secret about himself that could jeopardize Jack's plans.

As always, Jack's unconventional teaching methods and snarky sense of humor provide plenty of laughs in this episode. A.P. Bio continues to deliver its signature blend of dark comedy, satire, and heartwarming moments that make it one of the most original and entertaining shows on television.
