Sonic and Tails find themselves in a beauty pageant after they get separated from the Freedom Fighters. Sonic is mistaken for a female hedgehog and must compete against a group of female contestants to win the title of "Best Hedgehog." Meanwhile, Dr. Robotnik has his eyes set on the prize money and sends Scratch and Grounder to sabotage Sonic's chances of winning. With the help of Tails and his quick thinking, Sonic is able to outsmart his competitors and foil Robotnik's plans. In the end, Sonic proves that being the best hedgehog is about more than just looks.
