The show Airwolf follows the adventures of a high-tech military helicopter named Airwolf and its crew as they complete various missions. In season 4, episode 7, titled "Deathtrain," the crew is tasked with stopping a train carrying a deadly chemical weapon.

The episode begins with a tense confrontation between Airwolf pilot Stringfellow Hawke (played by Jan-Michael Vincent) and corrupt businessman Dugan (played by Brion James). Hawke is trying to retrieve a stolen nuclear detonator from Dugan, but Dugan threatens Hawke's friends and family if he doesn't back off. Hawke is forced to let Dugan go, but vows to get revenge.

Meanwhile, the United States government learns that a rogue nation has obtained a lethal chemical weapon and is planning to transport it on a train across the country. They enlist the help of the Airwolf crew to intercept the train and destroy the weapon before it can be used.

The crew, led by Hawke and co-pilot Dominic Santini (played by Ernest Borgnine), sets out to stop the train. They recruit a team of mercenaries to help them take down the heavily guarded train, but quickly realize that they may be outmatched.

As they chase the train through the mountains, the crew encounters a number of obstacles, including treacherous terrain and enemy helicopters. They also face internal conflict when it becomes clear that one of their own may be working against them.

In one thrilling sequence, the Airwolf helicopter swoops down to catch up with the speeding train, and Hawke and Santini leap from the helicopter onto the train in an attempt to disable the chemical weapon. They are successful, but not without a few close calls and a dramatic fight with the mercenaries.

In the end, the Airwolf crew emerges victorious, having saved the country from a catastrophic attack. However, the episode ends on a somber note as Hawke reflects on the toll that his dangerous lifestyle has taken on his relationships, and considers leaving it all behind.
