Ep 7. Only a Liar Says Something Is Too Hard

In Akiba's Trip The Animation season 1 episode 7, titled "Only a Liar Says Something Is Too Hard," we are introduced to the character of Niwaka Denkigai. Niwaka is a popular idol who performs at the same venue as the main characters, Tamotsu and Matome. However, her popularity has been waning lately and she is feeling pressure to maintain her stardom.

As the episode begins, Tamotsu and Matome attend Niwaka's concert hoping to find clues about the recent vampire attacks in Akiba. During the concert, they notice strange behavior from some of the audience members which leads them to suspect a vampire attack may be imminent.

Meanwhile, Niwaka is feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to maintain her popularity. She confesses to her friend and fellow idol, Pai, that she feels like giving up. Pai encourages her to continue on and reminds her that anything worth doing is never easy. Through her encouragement, Niwaka gains the courage to perform an encore for her fans.

Shortly after the encore, a group of vampires attack the venue and Tamotsu and Matome spring into action, using their knowledge of the vampires' weakness to defeat them. During the fight, Niwaka discovers that Tamotsu and Matome have been investigating the vampire attacks and offers to help in any way she can.

The episode ends with the trio bonding over their shared experience and Niwaka finding renewed meaning in her career as an idol. The theme of perseverance and overcoming obstacles is highlighted throughout the episode, with Niwaka's journey serving as a reminder that anything worth achieving is never easy.
