Ep 20. The Walk

Katie and Greg have been meaning to take a walk for a while, and finally find the time to do so. However, their walk is cut short when they stumble upon Anna-Kat's teacher, Dr. Ellie, who has collapsed. The Ottos are then tasked with caring for Dr. Ellie's dog while she is hospitalized, and chaos ensues as they try to balance the dog's needs with their own busy lives.

Meanwhile, Taylor is struggling to keep up with her schoolwork and turns to Oliver for help. However, Oliver's method of "teaching" involves taking Taylor to a coffee shop where they both end up procrastinating instead. In an attempt to actually start studying, Taylor turns to her rival, Eileen, for help. Eileen agrees to tutor Taylor, but the two end up forming an unlikely bond.

Back at the Otto household, Katie becomes increasingly stressed as she tries to juggle the dog, her job, and organizing a family talent show. When Greg suggests that she take a break, Katie begrudgingly agrees and invites some friends over for a girls' night in. However, the night doesn't go quite as planned when Doris, one of Katie's friends, gets a little too drunk and starts causing trouble.

As the episode comes to an end, the Ottos come together to perform in the talent show and showcase their unique talents. Despite all the chaos surrounding them, they realize how fortunate they are to have each other and appreciate the little moments that make life worth living.
