Ep 3. The Westport Zombie

Katie struggles to fit in with the seemingly perfect moms of Westport, Connecticut. In episode 3, titled "The Westport Zombie," she attempts to prove herself by creating a unique, homemade Halloween costume for her son, only to discover that her neighbor, Viv, has made an identical costume for her own child.

Determined to outdo Viv and win the costume contest, Katie becomes obsessed with perfecting her design, even enlisting the help of a local artisan to add some flair. However, her competitive streak begins to take a toll on her family and friends, as she neglects her duties as a wife and mother in her quest for glory.

Meanwhile, her husband, Greg, is dealing with some issues of his own as he struggles to connect with their rebellious teenage daughter, Taylor. When he realizes that her aloofness may be due to a crush on a neighbor boy, he clumsily tries to play matchmaker, only to make things worse.

As Halloween night approaches, tensions reach a boiling point for the Ottos, leading to a climactic showdown at the costume contest. Will Katie's hard work and determination pay off, or will she learn that sometimes winning isn't everything? Tune in to "The Westport Zombie" to find out.
