Ep 12. Wildflower Girls

Katie Otto is constantly trying to keep up with the perfect life of her wealthy neighbors, the Westport moms. In this episode, titled "Wildflower Girls," Katie and her friend Doris decide to become troop leaders for their daughters' wilderness guide group, the Wildflower Girls. They find themselves in a competition with a rival troop led by their nemesis, Kathryn, in a race to sell the most cookies and win a camping trip prize.

Katie and Doris struggle to get the girls motivated to sell cookies until they come up with an idea to pitch their cookies to a local dispensary. Meanwhile, Katie's husband Greg has a bone to pick with a fellow stay-at-home dad who keeps parking in his space.

As the competition heats up, Katie becomes increasingly competitive, even going so far as to sneakily buy cookies from her own daughter's troop in order to win. But when one of the Wildflower Girls gets injured due to the pressures of the competition, Katie is forced to reevaluate her priorities and remember the importance of being a good role model for her daughter.

Throughout the episode, there are also subplots involving Katie's son Oliver and his boyfriend, Cooper, as they navigate their long-distance relationship, and her youngest daughter Anna-Kat and her quest to be acknowledged as a genius by her school.
