Ep 7. Los Angeles City Finals

The seventh episode of season 11 of American Ninja Warrior is titled "Los Angeles City Finals." This episode marks the final leg of the Los Angeles qualifiers and features the top competitors from the region facing off against each other to advance to the national finals in Las Vegas.

The episode kicks off with the six obstacles that made up the Los Angeles qualifier: Shrinking Steps, Spring Forward, Diving Boards, Tire Run, Crazy Clocks, and Warped Wall. Those who advanced from the qualifiers now face three new obstacles: Bouncing Spider, Heavy Metal, and Work Wall. With new challenges in their way, competitors will have to push themselves beyond their limits to make it to the national finals.

As always, the episode is hosted by Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, with sideline reporter Zuri Hall providing updates and insights on the competitors. This time around, they are joined by two guest hosts: Olympian Swin Cash and pro wrestler Nikki Bella.

The Los Angeles City Finals begin with a bang as the competitors take on the first obstacle, Bouncing Spider, a series of trampolines leading to a vertical wall. The second obstacle takes things up a notch with Heavy Metal, a complex series of revolving metal bars that will test grip strength and balance to the max. Finally, the third obstacle is Work Wall, a 14-foot structure with handholds that must be scaled before reaching the buzzer.

Throughout the episode, viewers will be treated to incredible displays of athleticism and strength as the competitors battle their way through the grueling obstacles. Some will make it look easy, while others will struggle and fall short. But for all of them, the experience of competing on American Ninja Warrior is a test of their mettle as athletes and human beings.
