The twelfth season of American Ninja Warrior has pitted some of the best athletes and warriors from across the United States against each other, in a show of strength, perseverance, and agility. In episode ten, the Seattle/Tacoma City Finals take place, in a quest to find the ultimate ninja warrior.

Located in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle and Tacoma are known for their rugged terrain and enthusiastic population. The city finals are built in the iconic Tacoma Dome, a venue that has hosted some of the most historic events in Washington State. The Dome is transformed into an obstacle course that is designed to test the limits of the ninjas' abilities.

The Seattle/Tacoma City Finals are made up of four stages, each featuring unique sets of obstacles that require skill, strength, and endurance to conquer. In the first stage, the competitors are faced with six obstacles that are designed to test their upper body strength, agility, and balance. These include the Shrinking Steps, Diving Boards, Slingshot, Off The Hook, Tire Run, and Warped Wall. Each obstacle is designed to push the competitors to their limits, and they have to complete all six in under two-and-a-half minutes to move on to the next stage.

The second stage ramps up the difficulty, with eight obstacles in total. Designed to test their core muscles, grip strength, and speed, the obstacles include the Double Dipper, Cannonball Run, Block Run, Wingnuts, Salmon Ladder, and others. The competitors face a three-and-a-half-minute time limit for this stage, and must complete all eight obstacles to advance to the third stage.

The third stage is a brutal assault course that only the strongest ninja warriors can complete. The course features four obstacles that will test their strength, endurance, and agility. These include the Ultimate Cliffhanger, Iron Maiden, Cane Lane, and Body Prop. The competitors have four minutes to complete the course, with only two athletes moving on to the final stage.

Finally, the fourth stage is the ultimate test of a ninja warrior's skills. Dubbed the "Mount Midoriyama," this stage is a 75-foot tower that requires immense upper body strength, balance, and agility to climb. The competitors must make their way to the top of the tower, where they will hit a buzzer and become the ultimate ninja warrior.

Throughout the episode, viewers will be treated to an exciting display of strength and athleticism, as the competitors push their limits to become the ultimate ninja warrior. The show will highlight the backstory of the individual athletes, sharing personal triumphs and struggles that have led them to compete in this show. Hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila will provide commentary and insight into the obstacles and the performances of the competitors.
