In season 7, episode 5 of American Ninja Warrior, the show heads to Denver, Colorado for the qualifying round. This round features a challenging course set up at the iconic Civic Center Park.

The episode begins with host Matt Iseman and co-host Akbar Gbajabiamila introducing the course and highlighting some of the top competitors to watch out for. As always, the course is designed to test the strength, agility, and endurance of the competitors.

The first obstacle is the Quintuple Steps, where competitors must hop across five angled boards without falling into the water below. From there, they move onto the Log Grip, where they must traverse a series of rolling logs suspended over the water.

Next up is the Razor's Edge, a set of two parallel balance beams that gradually get narrower as the competitors move across them. This is followed by the Jumping Spider, a challenging obstacle where competitors must jump and grab onto a vertical wall covered in small slats, then make their way up to the top using only their hands and feet.

The fifth obstacle is the Warped Wall, a staple of the American Ninja Warrior course. Competitors must run up a curved wall and grab onto the top, pulling themselves up and over in order to move on to the next stage of the course.

The final obstacle of the course is the Salmon Ladder, a difficult challenge that requires competitors to use their upper body strength to jump a series of rungs up a bar, each one higher than the last. Once they reach the top, they must make it across a platform before hitting the buzzer to signal their completion of the course.

Throughout the episode, viewers get to see some incredible runs from talented competitors, as well as heartwarming stories of perseverance and determination. There are also some surprising falls, as even the most experienced ninjas can slip up on the challenging course.

In the end, only a handful of competitors are able to complete the entire course and move on to the next round. The episode ends with host Matt Iseman congratulating the impressive athletes and teasing the upcoming City Finals round.

Overall, this episode of American Ninja Warrior is an exciting and inspiring look at some of the most talented and dedicated athletes in the world.
