In American Pickers season 16 episode 2, titled "Sgt. Picker's Lonely Hearts Club," the dynamic duo of Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are back on the road searching for hidden gems among America's vast landscape. The episode begins with Mike and Frank traveling to Tennessee, where they meet up with a retired Army Sergeant, who is an avid collector of all things vintage. The Sergeant's collection includes everything from vintage jukeboxes to classic toys, and he is more than willing to sell some of his items to the Pickers.

As they begin to dig through the Sergeant's collection, Mike and Frank discover an old 1920s gas pump that catches their eye. They also find a rare 1940s NEON sign that is shaped like a guitar, which they believe will be a hit with collectors. The Pickers are also fascinated by the Sergeant's collection of Civil War memorabilia, which includes vintage uniforms and weapons.

But the Sergeant is not just a collector; he is also a musician and invites Mike and Frank to listen to some of his original songs. The Pickers are amazed by the Sergeant's talent and decide to purchase a few of his records. The Sergeant is overjoyed to have made the connection with the Pickers and is happy to part ways with some of his prized possessions.

Next, Mike and Frank make their way to a farm in Indiana, where they meet a farmer who has been collecting tractors and farm equipment for over 50 years. The farmer has an impressive collection of vintage John Deere tractors, some of which date back to the 1920s. Mike and Frank are excited to see such a large collection of vintage tractors in one place, and they immediately get to work trying to strike a deal with the farmer.

As they sort through the farmer's collection, Mike and Frank find an old-fashioned potato digger, which looks like it belongs in a museum. They also discover a vintage corn sheller, which they believe will be a big hit with collectors. The farmer is hesitant to sell some of his items, as they hold sentimental value to him, but he ultimately agrees to part ways with a few pieces.

The episode comes to an end with the Pickers on the hunt for some rare duck decoys in Illinois. Although they initially struggle to find the decoys, they eventually stumble upon a collector who has a large collection of vintage decoys. The Pickers are able to purchase a few of the decoys, which they plan to sell at their shop in Iowa.

Overall, American Pickers season 16 episode 2 is filled with fascinating collections, rare finds, and interesting stories. Mike and Frank once again prove that they are masters of the art of picking, and viewers are sure to be entertained by their adventures.
