In American Pickers season 20 episode 7, entitled "A Bronx Tale," pickers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz head to New York City to uncover antiques and collectibles hidden throughout the Bronx. She takes them to the basement of her store where they discover a vintage couch and a rare, hand-painted neon sign.
Later in the show, Mike and Frank find themselves at a massive warehouse, which they've been told is a goldmine for vintage items. The owner, Chris, welcomes them with open arms and takes them on a tour of his massive collection of antiques, including a rare metal airplane from the 1920s. As they sort through the items, they come across a rare set of 1960s neon diner signs in mint condition. However, Chris is not keen on parting with them and the pickers must use their expert negotiation skills to convince him to sell.
The final stop on their journey takes them to a local artist's studio where they meet Jeff, a talented artist who creates sculptures made primarily out of old car parts. Mike and Frank are fascinated by his intricate creations and are particularly impressed with a piece made from various car grills. They strike a deal with Jeff to purchase the piece, planning to display it in their shop back home.
Throughout the episode, we see the dynamic between Mike and Frank as they work together to find the best deals and convince sellers to part with their prized possessions. The episode offers a glimpse into the unique and diverse world that is the Bronx, highlighting the incredible antiques and collectibles that are hidden throughout.
