Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are back on American Pickers season 20 episode 9 with an absolutely enthralling episode titled Midwest Mayhem. The two expert pickers are on a mission to travel across the country and unearth obscure pieces of American history, and this episode showcases some of their most unique finds yet.

The episode begins with Mike and Frank driving through the heartland of America, trekking through cornfields and abandoned small towns in search of rare finds. The two come across an old farmer who has been collecting antiques for 50 years, and they waste no time in digging through his collection. They discover a massive antique French clock, old advertising signs from the 1920s, and a rare 1940s Coke machine that's unlike anything they've ever seen before.

From there, the duo makes their way to another small town where they meet a collector with an enormous garage packed full of automotive memorabilia. They spend hours sifting through the man's collection and come across a rare "buggy jack" used to lift horse-drawn carriages off the ground, antique car parts, and an amazing 1930s Ford Model A Roadster that's been parked in the man's garage for decades. Despite the car's age and disrepair, Mike and Frank know it's a gem and waste no time in making an offer to the collector.

Next, the pickers make their way to a small auction in the middle of nowhere, and they can hardly believe the treasures they find there. They purchase an enormous cast iron bell from the 1800s, a beautiful pair of 1920s leather boxing gloves, and an ancient oil painting that they are sure is worth a fortune.

Towards the end of the episode, Mike and Frank head into a large city to do some high-end picking, and they aren't disappointed. They visit an old industrial building with tons of vintage neon signs and are blown away when they discover a sign from the 1930s from the world-famous Pabst Brewing Company. They also uncover a fantastic 1950s gas pump, complete with a price of just 15 cents per gallon.

Throughout the episode, the duo simply can't believe the incredible pieces of history they uncover. From ancient trading cards to vintage motorcycles, every find is better than the last. Their excitement is infectious, and viewers will be on the edge of their seats wondering what incredible piece of history they'll find next.

On this episode of American Pickers season 20 episode 9, Mike and Frank prove that you never know what kind of treasure is hidden away in the Midwest, and that with a bit of luck and a keen eye, anyone can find a piece of American history. With its fast pace, amazing finds, and wonderful characters, this episode is not to be missed.
