America’s Wild Seasons is a mesmerizing dive into the heart of America's natural beauty across all four seasons. From the rolling mountains of the Appalachians to the vast wilderness of the Alaskan tundra, this documentary series offers viewers a glimpse into the breathtaking strength and beauty of America's wildlife.

Episode Two of Season One is titled “Summer” and takes us on a journey through America's great outdoors during the country's hottest season. As the temperature rises, so does the pace of life for America's wildlife, from herds of bison in the Midwest to black bears in the Appalachian Mountains, and from dolphins off the Florida coast to the gray whales of Alaska's Bering Sea.

The episode begins with a stunning aerial shot of a wildfire raging through Montana's Glacier National Park, reminding us that the beauty of summer also has its dangers. But despite the flames, life goes on. We witness a family of moose cooling off in a river while bull trout compete for territory, and a chance encounter between a wildlife photographer and a curious red fox.

Meanwhile, in northern Maine, we visit a family of black bears as they venture out from their forest home in search of food. It's a risky endeavor, as the local human population has grown significantly over the past few years, meaning there are more people to encounter and potentially threaten their natural habitat. But these animals are resilient and resourceful, and they've adapted well to the challenges of summer survival.

Further west, in Yellowstone National Park, we meet a pack of gray wolves as they hunt for elk in the park's vast grasslands. Their pack dynamics are complex, and their intricate communication skills are tested as they work together to bring down their prey. It's a natural symphony, and one that we're privileged to witness thanks to the skilled camera work of the documentary crew.

Moving south to the Gulf of Mexico, we witness the joy of summer for one of America's most beloved creatures - dolphins. They spend hours playing, socializing with each other, and hunting fish in the warm, clear water. As we watch these beautiful creatures frolic around us, it's clear that they're making the absolute most of the summer months.

Finally, on the far reaches of the continent, we accompany a pod of gray whales as they travel from the Bering Sea to the coast of Baja California in search of warmer waters and a place to mate and give birth. We see them breach and play in the ocean, a reminder of the sheer beauty and majesty of these animals.

As the episode comes to a close, we're left with a sense of awe at the beauty of nature and the sheer wonder of America's wilderness during the summer months. While the season may be fleeting, it's a time of life, renewal and survival for the continent's most magnificent creatures. If you're a nature lover, this is a show you won't want to miss.
