Andy's Safari Adventures is a show aimed at children, presented by Andy Day, which follows Andy as he visits different parts of the animal kingdom and journeying through exotic locations in search of fun, adventure and to learn about animals and nature. In season 2 episode 9 titled "Andy and the Marmosets", Andy takes us on a journey to South America to explore the Amazonian Rainforest, in order to find a family of marmosets.

Andy begins his adventure in a canoe as he navigates his way through the rainforest, spotting a number of local animals like birds, frogs and a caiman crocodile. Andy explains to the viewers that marmosets are tiny primates that live high in the trees, which makes them difficult to spot. As he continues, Andy hears a strange noise - it's the Callimico marmoset. Andy discovers that they live in groups, and that they are also related to the marmosets that he is looking for.

As Andy presses on with his adventure, he soon catches sight of a female marmoset hidden amongst the forest canopy. Andy gets closer and finds himself surrounded by a family of marmosets. They are all delighted to see him, but he is especially enthralled by a young baby marmoset. Andy explains that they are all very curious and that marmosets take great care of their young.

Next, Andy wants to show the marmosets to his best friend, Jen. Through a satellite uplink, Jen can see Andy with the marmosets in the rainforest. Jen is amazed and she gets to ask Andy lots of questions about the marmosets. She's fascinated to learn about the intricate social structure of the marmosets, as well as their adaptability and survival mechanisms in the tough rainforest environment.

In the next segment of the episode, Andy takes a closer look at the diet of the marmosets. He leads the viewer through how they catch sap from trees and drink nectar from flowers. Andy also demonstrates what kind of foods they should avoid eating while they're an active primate, such as the dangerous fire ants that live in the forest.

While admiring how agile and free the marmosets are, Andy gets inspired to explore ways in which to move like them. He jumps and swings along vines, emulating their agility, and then he and the marmosets begin to play together. Andy discovers how to understand the different vocalizations the marmosets use to communicate with each other, and he teaches the viewers how to mimic the sounds the marmosets make.

As the episode draws to a close, Andy tells the viewers that his time with the marmosets is nearly up. Andy says goodbye to his new friends and sets off down the river.

In summary, the ninth episode of Andy's Safari Adventures' second season sees Andy, the presenter, journeying through the Amazonian rainforest to observe and learn about marmosets, a type of tiny primates that live in high trees. He encounters a family of marmosets and observes their behaviour, social structures, and how they interact with each other.
