Based on the true stories of many of the Australian nurses who helped care for the wounded of Gallipoli and across Egypt during World War I are the subject of this historical mini series. Sister Olive Haynes leads a group of nurses from Australia to Egypt as World War I continues to rage around them. The nurses come from a variety of backgrounds and have different reasons for joining the Australian armed forces. As the nurses are pushed closer to the front lines the tension rises and their fears grow as the state of the wounded worsens.

Anzac Girls Full Episode Guide

  • Alice, Hilda, and Elsie find themselves on the front lines of battle when Germans bomb the care center where they are working. With the possibility of death hanging over them, they must persevere through the seemingly endless war.
