Ep 7. Drew's Pastry Place

In the seventh episode of season one of Bakery Boss, Buddy Valastro visits Drew's Pastry Place in Miami, Florida. Drew's Pastry Place is a family-run bakery that is struggling to stay afloat. The bakery has been in business for over 30 years, but it has not kept up with the times, and it is losing customers to newer, trendier bakeries.

After a night of renovations, Drew's Pastry Place is transformed. The bakery now has a modern, eye-catching storefront with a new logo that still celebrates the bakery's Cuban heritage. Buddy introduces Drew to a local food blogger who helps Drew make adjustments to his bakery's menu. The blogger helps Drew create new items like a red velvet croissant and a dulce de leche cupcake.

Drew's staff is also taught how to create these new items and how to market them. The staff works hard to perfect their new recipes, and they are proud to have created something fresh and exciting for the bakery's customers.

At the end of the episode, Drew is thrilled with the changes that Buddy has implemented.
