A North Carolina family is on a mission to find their dream beach home in this episode of Beachfront Bargain Hunt. With a budget of $450,000, they team up with local real estate agent, Karen DelVacchio, to scour the coastal towns of North Carolina's Crystal Coast for the perfect property.

The family consists of a mom, dad, and their two young daughters who are all excited to have their own slice of paradise. Dad is an avid fisherman and wants a home with easy access to the water, while the mom wants a place with plenty of room for indoor and outdoor entertaining. The girls just want a home with easy access to the beach where they can play and explore.

As they begin their search, Karen takes the family to a lovely second row property that checks all of mom's boxes. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home boasts an open floor plan with plenty of natural light, a large modern kitchen, a screened-in porch, and a backyard oasis complete with a pool, hot tub, and an outdoor kitchen. The only downside is that it's a bit of a walk to the beach, but the family is willing to compromise.

Their next stop is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home that is also second row but closer to the beach. It has a large deck with ocean views, an updated kitchen, and a separate apartment that could be used as a rental property. However, the home is smaller than the family would like and would require some renovations to make it more family-friendly.

On day two of their search, Karen takes the family to a canal-front home that dad is immediately drawn to. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home has a private dock where dad can keep his boat, a spacious screened-in porch, and an updated kitchen. The only downside is that the home is not directly on the beach, but the family is willing to overlook that for the chance to have easy access to the water for fishing.

Their final stop is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home directly on the beach. The home has beautiful ocean views from nearly every room, an updated kitchen, and a large deck perfect for entertaining. However, the home is a bit older and would require some renovations to make it more modern and functional for the family.

After weighing all of their options, the family ultimately decides on the second row home with the backyard oasis. They love the modern updates, the outdoor living space, and the potential for rental income. They can't wait to start making memories in their new beachfront home.
