In this action-packed episode of Being Human (UK) season 4, entitled "The War Child," the supernatural trio faces their greatest challenge yet as they try to protect the mysterious baby Eve from those who wish to harm her.

The episode begins with vampire Hal (played by Damien Molony) receiving a surprise visit from his old friend, Leo (Louis Mahoney), who has been helping to protect Eve from the sinister organization known as the Men with Sticks and Rope. Leo warns Hal that there are people willing to kill for the baby, including a powerful werewolf named Larry Chrysler (Andrew Gower) who has been hired by the Men with Sticks and Rope to track Eve down.

Meanwhile, ghost Alex (Kate Bracken) is dealing with her own problems as she struggles to come to terms with her feelings for Hal. Her emotions are further complicated when a charming visitor named Oliver (Alex Price) arrives and offers to take her away from her current situation.

As if that weren't enough, werewolf Tom (Michael Socha) is having his own troubles as he tries to uncover the truth about his own past and his connection to Eve. With the help of a local historian named Bobby (Ricky Grover), Tom discovers a shocking secret that puts his loyalty to the test and forces him to make a difficult decision.

Throughout the episode, the tension builds as the Men with Sticks and Rope close in on Eve and her protectors. There are several thrilling action scenes, including a showdown between Hal and Larry, that keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

But amidst the chaos and danger, there are also moments of tenderness and humor. The relationship between Hal and Leo is touching and their scenes together provide a nice balance to the more dramatic moments of the episode. Alex's interactions with both Hal and Oliver add a touch of romance and comedy, while Tom's scenes with Bobby provide some much-needed levity.

Overall, "The War Child" is a well-crafted episode that moves the plot forward while still taking time to develop the characters and their relationships. Fans of the show will not be disappointed.
