Ep 18. Black Math

In the Black-ish season 4 episode 18, entitled "Black Math," the Johnson family is faced with a dilemma when Dre's sister Rhonda shows up unexpectedly with her two children. The kids are having trouble with math, and Rhonda believes that Dre, a successful advertising executive, can help them. In the end, the Johnson family comes together to support each other and embrace their strengths and weaknesses. Rhonda and her children return home, but not before Dre and Junior have a heart-to-heart about their relationship and Dre's insecurities as a father. Bow returns to work with a newfound confidence and a better understanding of her own abilities, while Dre feels proud of himself for overcoming his fear of math and his own self-doubt. The episode ends with the family gathered around the table, sharing a meal and enjoying each other's company, as they always do.
