Ep 19. Love Lost

In season 7 episode 19 of Blue Bloods, titled "Love Lost," the Reagan family is dealing with matters of the heart both in their personal and professional lives.

Erin, the district attorney, is faced with a difficult decision after learning that her ex-husband Jack will be released from prison early. Jack was convicted of bribery and conspiracy charges while working as a Wall Street lawyer, and Erin may have to put her personal feelings aside to do what is best for the city.

Meanwhile, Danny, a detective in the NYPD, is investigating the death of a young woman who was found floating in the East River. The victim's girlfriend tells Danny that they were planning on getting married, but her family disapproved of the same-sex relationship. As Danny tries to determine whether the victim's death was a hate crime, he must also navigate his own feelings about his son's relationship with his girlfriend.

Jamie, a fellow detective and Danny's younger brother, is struggling with his own love life. His partner Eddie has started dating someone new, and Jamie can't help feeling jealous and insecure. He confides in his therapist, but ultimately decides to confront Eddie and find out where they stand.

Finally, Frank, the police commissioner and patriarch of the Reagan family, is dealing with a case that hits close to home. A retired police officer who was a friend of Frank's has been arrested for using excessive force during an arrest. Frank must navigate the delicate balance between supporting his friend and upholding the law.

As the Reagan family tackles these various love-related issues, they must also work together to support each other and protect the city they love.
