When it comes to being in charge, Ethel just can't seem to catch a break. In "My Way Or The Highway," the seventh episode of Brickleberry Season 2, Ethel finds herself facing a challenging situation as she takes on the role of temporary park supervisor. And let's just say, things don't go exactly as planned.

The episode opens with Woody, the original park supervisor, taking some time off for personal reasons. With no one else suitable to fill his shoes, Ethel reluctantly agrees to step up and oversee Brickleberry National Park. Having always been an obedient and rule-abiding park ranger, Ethel takes this opportunity to showcase her leadership skills and prove to her colleagues that she's capable of being in charge.

However, Ethel soon discovers that maintaining control over a group of unruly park rangers is no easy feat. From Malloy, the mischievous and foul-mouthed bear, to Steve, the dim-witted ranger with an apparent aversion to work, the staff at Brickleberry National Park seems determined to make Ethel's temporary reign a living nightmare.

As Ethel attempts to assert her authority, she introduces a series of strict new rules and regulations in an effort to bring order to the park. But rather than finding support and compliance from her colleagues, Ethel's authoritative approach only serves to further fuel the rebellion.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang in Brickleberry becomes divided as they take sides in the power struggle between Ethel and the rest of the park rangers. Some, like Connie and Denzel, recognize the importance of following the rules and respecting Ethel's authority. They believe that the park could benefit from a more organized and efficient structure.

On the other hand, Woody and Steve, alongside the rebellious Malloy, refuse to accept Ethel's leadership. They perceive her actions as an attempt to stifle their freedom and impose unnecessary restrictions on their daily activities. Chaos ensues as they openly defy Ethel's rules, engaging in various antics and pranks to undermine her authority.

As tensions rise between Ethel and the rest of the park rangers, a multitude of hilarious and often ridiculous situations arise. Ethel's attempts to enforce her rules result in unexpected consequences, making it increasingly difficult for her to maintain control. From a disastrous attempt at implementing a dress code to a bungled fishing expedition, each of Ethel's efforts to assert her authority leads to more comedic chaos.

In the midst of the turmoil, Ethel starts to question her ability to maintain order and win the respect of her colleagues. She begins to doubt whether her authoritative approach is the right way to go and whether she's cut out for the position of park supervisor.

Throughout the episode, "My Way Or The Highway" explores themes of power dynamics, rebellion, and the challenges of leadership. It showcases the comedic talent of the show's ensemble cast, who adeptly bring their characters' idiosyncrasies to life and infuse the episode with plenty of laughter.

As the episode draws to a close, Ethel is forced to confront the consequences of her actions. In an unexpected twist of events, she learns an important lesson about leadership and finds a way to bridge the divide between herself and her colleagues.

"My Way Or The Highway" is a hilarious and entertaining episode that delves into the difficulties of being in charge and the complexities of maintaining order in a chaotic world. Through its absurd yet relatable scenarios, the episode offers a comedic exploration of power dynamics and the lengths people will go to assert their independence.
