Ep 15. Return of the King

In Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 6 episode 15 entitled "Return of the King," Captain Raymond Holt (played by Andre Braugher) makes a triumphant return to the 99th precinct after being ousted from his position as captain and having to work as a uniformed patrol officer in the field. Jake Peralta (played by Andy Samberg) is especially excited for Holt's return and has planned an elaborate welcoming ceremony for him.

As the episode progresses, Holt is tasked with leading the squad on a seemingly mundane case involving a stolen math book from a local high school. However, things quickly escalate when the case turns out to be much more complicated than anticipated, and Holt finds himself struggling to maintain control of the situation.

Meanwhile, Terry Jeffords (played by Terry Crews) is dealing with a personal crisis as his brother-in-law Zeke (played by guest star Jamal Duff) is accused of stealing a prize racehorse. Terry is determined to prove Zeke's innocence, but finding the real culprit proves to be more difficult than he anticipates.

As the two cases unfold, the rest of the squad is dealing with their own problems. Rosa Diaz (played by Stephanie Beatriz) is struggling to come to terms with her romantic feelings for a co-worker, while Amy Santiago (played by Melissa Fumero) is trying to impress Holt with her leadership skills.

Throughout the episode, there are plenty of laughs and hijinks as the squad navigates their respective challenges and works together to solve the cases at hand. Ultimately, "Return of the King" is a satisfying and entertaining addition to the Brooklyn Nine-Nine canon, showcasing the wit, humor, and heart that has made the series a fan favorite.
