Bullets Over Hollywood is a documentary special which aired in 2005. The special focused on gangster/mafia movies and the impact it made in Hollywood. The special was narrated by Goodfellas star Paul Sorvino. In the documentary, he goes in specifically how Hollywood were interested in the mafia world through stories and real life news. The negative stories sparked an interest in Hollywood's writers and the directors. Ever since the age of the movie scene, Hollywood was interested in the criminal underworld stories. Throughout the documentary, a handful of actors were interviewed about their portrayal of a mafia character and their experience of playing the character. The special shows how Hollywood loves the stories of the wrong side of the law and how the audience love to see the events on the big screen.
