Ilie realizes that this could be the antidote for her infection and convinces Kidow and Shidan to join forces and search for the Dragon's Heart together.

The episode ends with Kidow and his companions setting off towards unknown territory in search of the Dragon's Heart, with Shidan joining them as an added ally. "From the Far East" serves as a turning point in the series, creating a new direction for the characters and raising the stakes as they embark on a perilous journey towards an unknown destination.
