Candidly Nicole is a reality show on the VH1 network that airs every Thursday night for a half hour. The show's focus is Nicole Richie herself, with unfiltered candid takes on various social issues. She's shown in her funny and weird antics. Her father, who is singer and songwriter Lionel Richie, also makes appearances, along with her fifteen year old step sister Sofia and a host of her friends.

The show airs different episodes where the many faces of Nicole that are not previously known to the world are shown. She is shown in one of the episodes where she sets up an online dating account on behalf of her best friend and she ends up being the one communicating with one of the guys that responded on behalf of her friend. She's shown where she's unable to successfully parallel park her car and she goes to her father to learn how to accomplish this.

She also takes the show to the streets to interact with ordinary folks on different experiences. She's shown in a clip where she pretends to be a fan of farm life to win over certain people she feels hate her.
