Watch Celebrity Wife Swap
- 4 Seasons
Celebrity Wife Swap is a reality television program that takes two very different families and has the mother from each family switch places and try to manage the day to day lives of the other family. As in the regular series Wife Swap, each woman tends to have very different views on home making and child rearing. In each episode, either the mother or father of each family is from a different section of the celebrity world. The first part of each episode introduces you to each member of each family. They go over how their household is run and what the daily routines are for them all. On the day that the mom from the family is due to leave, the family is filmed saying their goodbyes, and each spouse identifies what it hopes to gain or learn from their experience. After each woman arrives at her new home, she is given some time to investigate the surroundings to see what celebrity lives at that household. The mom then meets her new substitute family for the week. On the first day of her stay, the celebrity mother will try to run things the way that is outlined in the diary provided by the family's true patriarch. After she gets a feel for what she thinks the family could do better, she presents to the husband and children a plan to improve things. The next part of each episode shows each family trying the new rules. As expected, there is a good amount of skepticism from each family, and each show plays out with the good and bad that come from the experiment. The final part of each episode has the moms return back to their spouse, and the four parties involved all sit down to discuss how things went and what they did or did not gain from the experience. Participants from the show's first season included television stars Tracy Gold, Tina Yothers, Niecy Nash, and Antonio Sabato Jr. Also appearing is the star of several films, Gary Busey. Appearing from the world of music were Flavor Flav, Carnie Wilson and Dee Snyder. The last two participants were disgraced television preacher Ted Haggard and Mick Foley, who was known as Mankind and Cactus Jack in the pro wrestling industry.
