He also discusses his missionary and relief work, with an emphasis on the global AIDS epidemic. Then, pastor, theologian, and author Gregory Boyd joins Charlie to discuss his new book, "The Myth of a Christian Nation: How the Quest for Political Power is Destroying the Church". The book explores the growing disenchantment of certain parts of the faith community with Christianity's increasingly political bent. Boyd argues for a renewed separation of church and state within the realm of partisan politics.
