Ep 1. The End Is Where We Begin

Chesapeake Shores season 4 episode 1, "The End Is Where We Begin," picks up where season 3 left off with Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) poised to leave Chesapeake Shores and return to Nashville to pursue his music career. After a heated argument with his girlfriend Abby (Meghan Ory), Trace must decide whether to follow his dreams or stay in Chesapeake Shores with the people he loves.

As Trace struggles with his decision, the rest of the O'Brien family is dealing with their own challenges. Abby's sister Bree (Emilie Ullerup) is still reeling from her breakup with David (Carlo Marks) and decides to take a break from her writing career. However, her break is short-lived as she is approached by a publisher who is interested in her latest manuscript.

Meanwhile, Jess (Laci Mailey) is busy planning her wedding with her fiance David (Kyle Toy) and enlists the help of her siblings throughout the process. However, tensions arise between the family as Jess becomes more controlling about the wedding planning.

Kevin (Brendan Penny) is still adjusting to life as a newlywed and is dealing with the aftermath of his time in Afghanistan. He confronts a fellow soldier who is struggling with PTSD and tries to offer him advice and support.

Mick (Treat Williams) and Megan (Barbara Niven) are still working through their issues after their separation and subsequent reconciliation. While they have made progress, there is still tension between them that needs to be addressed.

Overall, "The End Is Where We Begin" sets the stage for a season full of family drama, love, and music. As the O'Brien family faces new challenges and opportunities, they must learn to navigate their way through the ups and downs of life in Chesapeake Shores.
