Ep 2. Plan For Independent Japan

Lelouch is determined to create a world in which his sister Nunnally can live peacefully and happily. However, in order to do so, he needs to first establish a strong and independent Japan. In episode 2 of season 2, titled "Plan For Independent Japan," Lelouch begins to put his plan into action.

Lelouch, now the Emperor of Britannia, has enlisted the help of his former schoolmate and now Knight of the Round, Suzaku Kururugi, to help him establish Japan as an independent nation. Suzaku is hesitant at first, as he sees his duty as a Knight to serve Britannia, but Lelouch persuades him by revealing his true identity as the leader of the Black Knights, a rebel group fighting against Britannia, and his plan to create a world without conflict.

Together, Lelouch and Suzaku devise a plan to convince the other nations of the world to recognize Japan's independence. The first step is to sever all ties with Britannia, and Lelouch decides to do so by announcing his own abdication as Emperor. This shocks the Britannian Empire and causes turmoil among the upper echelons of power. Lelouch takes advantage of this chaos and launches a surprise attack against the Britannian military, quickly capturing several key locations.

Meanwhile, Suzaku takes on the role of convincing other nations to recognize Japan's independence. He travels to China, which has previously had a hostile relationship with Japan, and successfully negotiates a treaty to recognize Japan as a sovereign nation. However, his success is short-lived as he is later ambushed by a group of ninja assassins hired by Britannia.

Back in Japan, Lelouch's sister Nunnally has been appointed as the new Governor-General of Area 11 (formerly known as Japan), and begins to implement Lelouch's plan for an independent Japan. She establishes a new government and begins to work towards achieving equality between the different social classes.

As the episode progresses, Lelouch's plan for an independent Japan faces increasing resistance from Britannia. The Knights of the Round, led by Schneizel el Britannia, begin to plot against Lelouch, and his own sister Cornelia, who has returned from self-imposed exile, openly opposes his plans.

Despite the obstacles, Lelouch remains determined to see his plan through. He confronts Schneizel and the other Knights of the Round in a tense showdown, and emerges victorious, securing his position as Emperor. With Suzaku's help, he continues to negotiate with other nations to gain recognition for an independent Japan, and his ultimate goal of creating a world without war and conflict seems closer than ever.

In this episode, viewers are treated to a thrilling mix of political intrigue, action-packed battle scenes, and thought-provoking themes of power and government. As Lelouch and his allies work towards creating a new world order, they face opposition from unexpected sources, and must rely on their wit and resourcefulness to achieve their goals.
