Ep 8. Bound And Burnt

In season 5, episode 8 of Cold Justice, titled "Bound and Burnt," former prosecutor Kelly Siegler and her team head to Washington County, Oregon to investigate the murder of a young woman named Jennifer Jeffley.

Jennifer's burned and bound body was found in a remote forest in 1986. At the time, investigators believed that Jennifer had been the victim of a random attack, but her family has always suspected foul play. Now, more than 30 years later, Kelly and her team are determined to help bring Jennifer's killer to justice.

As they begin their investigation, Kelly and her team uncover a number of potential suspects, each with their own possible motives for committing the crime. Among them are Jennifer's ex-boyfriend, a man who had become increasingly violent and unstable in the months leading up to Jennifer's murder; a group of men who were known to frequent the area where Jennifer's body was found; and even members of Jennifer's own family.

The team soon learns that Jennifer had been trying to distance herself from her troubled past, and had recently moved to Oregon in an effort to start a new life. However, her past soon catches up with her, and it becomes clear that she was in danger long before she was killed.

As they delve deeper into the case, Kelly and her team face a number of challenges, including a lack of physical evidence and the fact that many of the people who knew Jennifer at the time of her death are now deceased or unwilling to talk.

However, they refuse to give up, and continue to pursue every lead they can find. As they do, they slowly begin to piece together the events leading up to Jennifer's murder, and uncover a shocking truth that has gone undiscovered for decades.

Ultimately, Kelly and her team are able to bring Jennifer's killer to justice, bringing a sense of closure to her family and friends after more than three decades of uncertainty.
