Watch Cold Justice: Sex Crimes
- 1 Season
Cold Justice Sex Crimes is a gritty and true-life docudrama. It is similar to TV shows that highlight cold or unsolved murder cases. The series follows two former female prosecutors, that helps various jurisdictions solve their toughest unsolved sex crimes. The first episode tells the frightening story of a young third grade teacher that was raped in her school's bathroom. This brazen assault occurred while the school children attended church services down the hall in the cafeteria. Her terrified 911 call brought tears to the eyes of even the most seasoned law enforcement. One of the tools in their arsenal is a very controversial law that came out in 2003. The John Doe law allows for DNA evidence from a sexual assault to be stored until it can be matched to a suspect. The problem is the stored DNA could be used years after the statue of limitations has ran out. Which is the controversy. Another point of the drama is convincing the remaining suspects to give a sample of their DNA. This show is for mature audiences. Factual evidence of the rape is expressed frankly. But if you love forensics and courageous victims getting their day in court, then this is the show for you.
