  • December 11, 2021

In the season 6 finale of Cold Justice, the team travels to Hope, Arkansas to investigate the suspicious death of 38-year-old Victoria DeLeon. Victoria was found dead in her home on July 6, 2002, with a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a suicide, but her family believes she was murdered.

Kelly and Tony team up with local law enforcement to re-examine the evidence and conduct interviews with witnesses who were never interviewed during the original investigation. As they dig deeper, they uncover inconsistencies in the timeline and witness statements.

The team interviews Victoria's ex-boyfriend, who was the last person to see her alive, and her friend who was with her the night before her death. They also speak with a neighbor who reported hearing gunshots and screams around the time of Victoria's death.

As they gather more information, the team begins to question whether Victoria was a victim or a villain. They uncover a possible motive involving a love triangle and jealousy, and they discover evidence that suggests Victoria may have been planning to harm herself.

The team faces challenges along the way as they encounter resistance from some individuals who do not want to cooperate with the investigation. However, they persevere and piece together the evidence to come to a conclusion about what really happened on the night of July 6, 2002.

In the emotional conclusion, the team presents their findings to Victoria's family and the local authorities. The episode raises important questions about the investigation process and the importance of thorough investigations when it comes to suspicious deaths.
