Confessions: Animal Hoarding is a documentary style production that delves into the lives of people that have accumulated so many animals it has thrown their lives into chaos. Each episode follows an individual's struggle to live with sometimes over 100 animals--such as cats or dogs--and how this impacts their daily lives. Hoarders are interviewed and discuss how they came to own so many animals. Often the beginning of hoarding can be traced to a traumatic event and/or mental illness. Hoarders feel intense emotions the regarding their animals. Warning: The graphic footage can be disturbing to some viewers.
