- 17 Seasons
Cribs is a reality TV program that originally started on the MTV network and then moved to the CMT network. This show has nothing to do with babies. Crib can be a slang term for a person's home. This show is simply about exploring the house and mansions of celebrities. They had explored about 185 homes. It did seem a lot like the show called The Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Cribs was intended for a younger generation and more casual in tone. The narrator was originally Ananda Lewis. She was subsequently replaced by Su-Chin Pak of MTV News. Nina Diaz was the creator of this show. She went on to create a show called My Super Sweet 16. The show was on the air for thirteen seasons. The most popular episode in the 13 seasons was a one-hour (the show had been usually 30 minutes) special about the New York penthouse owned by Mariah Carey.
