Ep 1. Doubt

In Criminal Minds season 3 episode 1, titled "Doubt," the notorious BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) team of the FBI is summoned to investigate the brutal murder of a couple residing in their suburban home just outside of Washington D.C.

It is clear to the team that the killer was organized and had been patiently planning the attack for a while. However, when they interview the victims' friends and family, they begin to realize things may not be as simple as they appear.

One of the couples's sons is a young priest who quickly becomes a suspect in the case. The team investigates his background and discovers he had been struggling with the vow of celibacy and may have had a romantic relationship with a young woman in the church.

As the investigation continues, the team members start to doubt the priest's innocence, and they must work together to uncover the truth behind the killings.

Meanwhile, the team grapples with their own personal battles. Elle Greenaway (Lola Glaudini) is still dealing with the trauma of her kidnapping, Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) is struggling with his own demons, and JJ Jareau (A.J. Cook) faces a difficult decision that could change her career trajectory forever.
