Cutthroat Kitchen is a high-energy cooking competition show that keeps the contestants on their toes. Each episode features four chefs who are given a set amount of money to purchase ingredients and cooking tools from a makeshift grocery store. However, there's a catch - each chef can use that money to purchase sabotages for their opponents, forcing them to cook with limited resources, difficult cooking conditions, or even specialized tools.

Some of the boxes contain luxury items like high-quality meats or exotic spices, while others contain punishments like a hot plate that only works intermittently or a set of miniature cooking tools that make precision work next to impossible.

The chefs bid on the boxes in a lively auction, using their remaining money to try and score the best possible ingredients and avoid the worst sabotages. As the cooking begins, the chefs must navigate both their ingredients and their limitations, trying to create dishes that are both flavorful and impressive.

Along the way, the contestants face a number of tricky sabotage twists. One chef is forced to cook with oven mitts on their hands, while another must use a giant inflatable toy as their only prep surface. A third chef has to cook while sitting in a kiddie pool filled with ice water, which makes for a chilly and uncomfortable experience.

Despite the challenges, the chefs keep their sense of humor and determination. They laugh and joke with each other even as they try to outmaneuver their opponents. In the end, the judges sample the dishes and select one overall winner, who will take home the prize money and the title of Cutthroat Kitchen champion.
