Ep 2. Curse You, Fake Game Creation Club

As usual, Kenji Kazama finds himself entangled in the chaotic world of the Game Creation Club (Provisional) at school, much to his dismay. His misfortune is compounded by a cruel curse that befalls him after a game of rock-paper-scissors with Roka Shibasaki, the club's leader.

The curse is meant to bring about bad luck by making Kenji's actions mirror the actions of a stuffed animal bear, which he carries around on his backpack. The more he tries to resist the curse, the worse his situation becomes, leading to a hilarious series of mishaps.

Meanwhile, Takao, another member of the Game Creation Club, decides to join up with a rival club that creates games that are artful and intellectually challenging. Despite her enthusiasm for their projects, Takao quickly realizes that they lack the sort of joyous camaraderie that she shares with her friends in the Game Creation Club (Provisional).

When Takao attempts to leave the rival club, they challenge her to a game of their own, which turns out to be more of a test of her loyalty and resolve than an actual game. With the help of Kenji, she manages to escape their clutches, cementing her love for the more unconventional Game Creation Club.

As the episode comes to a close, Kenji is finally able to break free of the curse, but not before he causes a huge scene at school, involving several broken computer monitors, pieces of chalk, and a stray cat.
