Full Metal Panic! is an action-packed anime series that premiered in 2002 and ran till 2006. Produced by animation studio Gonzo, the series has been adapted from a light novel series of the same name by Shoji Gatoh. The show revolves around the character of Sousuke Sagara, a young soldier of Mithril, a private military organization tasked with protecting the world's peace. Sousuke is a highly skilled and experienced fighter, having been trained from a young age to become a soldier. He's sent on a mission to protect a high school girl, Kaname Chidori, who happens to be the target of an unknown terrorist group.

Kaname, on the other hand, is a regular high school student with a temper. She is unaware of her true identity, which has made her a target of the terrorists. Subsequently, she is always under the protection of Sousuke, who has been tasked with blending in with her classmates to protect her from harm.

The series is a mix of action, comedic moments, and teenage romance. As Sousuke tries to protect Kaname, he has to navigate the tricky world of high school, making for some hilarious moments as he tries to fit in with his classmates. Meanwhile, the terrorist group keeps making attempts on Kaname, leading to intense fight sequences.
