In Deadly 60 season 1 episode 24 titled "The Unseen," wildlife expert Steve Backshall takes on a new challenge of finding some of the most elusive and unseen creatures in the world. Accompanied by his team, Steve travels to remote locations in search of creatures that are rarely seen or studied.

The episode begins with Steve exploring a dense rainforest in search of the highly secretive Okapi. This animal is related to the giraffe and has a long tongue, which it uses to strip leaves off branches. However, the Okapi is extremely shy and elusive, which makes it difficult to find. Steve and the team set up cameras and wait patiently, hoping to catch a glimpse of this elusive animal.

Next, Steve heads to the coastal waters of South Africa in search of the world's largest predatory shark – the Great White Shark. Steve is excited to observe and study the behavior of this ferocious creature that is feared by many. Despite the risk involved, Steve and his team dive into the shark-infested waters to observe and tag the Great White Sharks in their natural habitat.

Moving inland, Steve attempts to find some of the rarest and most elusive primates in the world – the Chimpanzees. These highly intelligent animals are known to use tools and exhibit complex social behaviors. Steve treks through dense forests, following the calls of the Chimpanzees and hoping to catch a glimpse of their secretive behavior.

In the next segment, Steve travels to the wetlands of Australia in search of the Platypus. This unique mammal is one of the few that lay eggs and is equipped with a highly sensitive bill that helps in finding prey in murky waters. Although Platypus are found in many parts of Australia, they are extremely shy and difficult to observe.

The final segment of the show takes Steve to the deserts of Arizona in search of the elusive Gila Monster. These venomous lizards are one of the rarest in the world and very difficult to locate. Steve spends hours searching the barren desert looking for clues and signs of the Gila Monster's presence.
