Demon Lord Dante is a Japanese anime series that premiered in 2002 on the television network AT-X. The show follows the story of Ryo Utsugi, a high school student who discovers a mysterious amulet that transports him to a parallel universe filled with demons and magic.

Once Ryo arrives, he discovers that he is actually the reincarnation of the legendary Demon Lord Dante, a powerful and violent demon who was defeated and sealed away centuries ago by a group of powerful magic users known as the Golden Knights. Now that Dante has been reborn, he sets out to seek revenge on the Golden Knights and claim his rightful place as ruler of the demon world.

Throughout the series, Ryo/Dante must battle against various demons and members of the Golden Knights in order to achieve his goals. He is aided in his journey by his best friend Reika, a powerful sorceress who helps him learn to control his demon powers, as well as his loyal demon servant Medusa.
